Brian Newman is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served from 1989 to 1993, including Operation Desert Storm. He writes contemporary and literary fiction about families under strain: the people who walk away, the people who stay, and what it takes to come home.
His Thomas Brookes Series begins with The Silence Between and continues with The Years Between, The Ghosts Between, The Fracture Between, and The Mending Between, all on the way. Brian also creates songs inspired by the series' characters and storylines.
